Conviction for robbery, carjacking, burglary, assualt with a firearm is reversed where defendant met his appellate burden of showing that his right to due process was violated by the court's conducting a portion of the jury selection off the record, outside the presence of the prospective jurors, and outside his presence without his waiver, whether express or implied, oral or written, personal or by counsel.
