California Court of Appeal

County of San Diego v. Arzaga, D047798

Judgment finding defendant to be the legal father of a minor female under the doctrine of parentage by estoppel is reversed where a finding of parentage by estoppel in this case is prevented by the trial court's finding that it was clear that defendant truly did not know that he was not the biological father, and only stopped acting as such when the genetic test results were received in this action.
