Salazar v. Interland, Inc., B189889
In claim for commissions on the transfer of Internet and Web-hosting services to defendants, summary judgment for defendants is affirmed where: 1) the trial court correctly found that the transaction was the sale of a business opportunity; and 2) that under Business and Professions Code section 10131(a), plaintiff was required to be licensed as a broker in order to recover commissions for arranging the sale or acquisition of this business.
