The settlor of a charitable remainder unitrust (CRUT) may enforce the terms of the trust by petitioning the probate court concerning the internal affairs of the trust. Probate Code section 24(d) permits the settlor of a charitable trust to object to an accounting where the settlor has reserved the power in the trust instrument.
