California Court of Appeal

Kronemyer v. Internet Movie Data Base, Inc., B193613

In a dispute with defendant website IMDb, plaintiff claimed he was executive producer of motion pictures "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" and "Wishcraft" and the television production "Stand and Be Counted," but that the website did not attribute production credits to plaintiff. Trial court's grant of anti-SLAPP special motion to strike the complaint is affirmed as the listing of credits on defendant's website is an act in furtherance of the right of free speech protected under the anti-SLAPP statute.
