California Court of Appeal
Michaely v. Michaely, B186705
In dissolution proceedings first commenced in January 1995, further judgment on reserved issues entered in August 2005 involvng financial issues and sanctions imposed on husband based on his conduct during his deposition in 1999 is affirmed over claims that: 1) the 1999 order that husband sit for another deposition was an abuse of discretion; 2) the discovery referee's report was procedurally defective; 3) the sanctions order was an abuse of discretion; 4) the court erred by adopting the referee's report based on wife's collateral estoppel argument; and 5) the final judgment must be reversed because the court ordered support in excess of that recommended by the referee.
