California Court of Appeal

Morrow v. L.A. Unified Sch. Dist., B192627

In case arising from alleged invasion of privacy and defamation of high school principal, dismissal of action under the anti-SLAPP statute is affirmed over claims that the trial court erred in: 1) finding the dismissed causes of action arose from defendants- constitutionally protected speech activity; 2) finding plaintiff failed to demonstrate a probability of prevailing on either claim; 3) its evidentiary rulings that struck numerous statements from the two declarations plaintiff submitted in opposition to the anti-SLAPP motion; and 4) its award of attorney fees to defendants.
