California Court of Appeal

California Housing Fin. Agency v. Hanover/Cal. Mgmt. & Accounting Ctr., Inc., G034968

In suit making allegations of fraud and of having a financial interest in a government contract, verdict for plaintiff is affirmed as any potential error in denying defendants' summary judgment motion was harmless since all factual disputes were fully and fairly litigated at trial, and the trial court did not err in instructing the jury liability may attach under Government Code section 1090 for a person designated an independent contractor.
