People v. Dulan, H028838

In case involving negotiated plea of no contest to engaging in sexual intercourse and oral copulation with a person under the age of 16, sentence requiring registration as a sex offender is reversed as the mandatory registration requirement applicable to oral copulators in defendant's situation violates equal protection in view of the absence of such a requirement affecting those who commit unlawful sexual intercourse with minors in otherwise identical circumstances.
