California Court of Appeal

People v. Flores, F047476

Defendant's recommitment to state hospital after a jury finding that he continued to be a sexually violent predator within the meaning of the Sexually Violent Predator Act is affirmed over claims that: 1) since he voluntarily underwent chemical and surgical castration while confined, the future-dangerousness finding was not supported by substantial evidence; and 2) the trial court erred when it modified a pattern jury instruction regarding future dangerousness.
