California Court of Appeal
Maughan v. Google Tech., Inc., B183969
In an underlying class action suit for defamation, products liability and unfair business practices, judgment for defendant after order granting motion to strike under anti-SLAPP statute is affirmed as plaintiffs' challenge to the order is not cognizable on appeal from judgment. On defendant's cross-appeal, the trial court did not abuse its discretion in awarding $23,000 as the amount of reasonable attorney fees and costs to which defendant was entitled.
