California Court of Appeal
California Consumer Health Care Council v. Kaiser Found. Health Plan, Inc., A108697
Sustaining of demurrer without leave to amend, in suit alleging that defendant sent its attorneys "irrelevant" medical information concerning patients who were either making or considering making medical malpractice claims, is affirmed as the challenged practices were authorized by the Confidentiality of Medical Information Act and, also, plaintiff's claims are barred by amendments to the Unfair Competition Law.
