California Court of Appeal

Seever v. Copley Press, Inc., B180062

Jury verdict for defendant, on plaintiff's claims of wrongful discharge based on age, disability, and medical leave discrimination, and failure to reasonably accommodate is affirmed, however award of post-judgment costs is reversed as the court made no inquiry about plaintiff's financial situation and there is no indication of whether the cost award represents an unduly powerful settlement incentive.
