Bassett v. Lakeside Inn, Inc., C050514

Demurrer without leave to amend sustained against plaintiffs, parents who sued a drunk driver and others for wrongful death after their daughter was killed on way to school, is affirmed where one defendant and its employees had no duty to the daughter, and school district defendant has immunity under Education Code section 44808 because the accident occurred off campus and outside its supervision.
