Jenkins v. Riverside County, E037030

Grant of summary judgment in favor of defendant county is affirmed over claims that: 1) regardless of the defendant's classification of plaintiff as a "temporary" employee, she was actually a "regular" employee under defendant's salary ordinance, and thus her termination was an adverse employment action under state law; and 2) irrespective of plaintiff's status, she was entitled to be appointed to a vacant regular position.
