Verdin v. Riverside Super. Ct., E038165

In case where criminal defendant, charged with attempted murder, spousal battery and related crimes, raised "diminished actuality" defense and had expert examine and prepare a psychological evaluation, trial court had the authority to order defendant to submit to a prosecution mental examination.
