A trial court may establish reasonable preapproval procedures for reimbursement of expert costs incurred in nonemergency circumstances by pro bono counsel in conservatorship proceedings under the Lanterman-Petris-Short Act, and the court has discretion to deny reimbursement when counsel fails to comply with such procedures.
