California Court of Appeal

PEOPLE v. OVERBY, B166718

Defendant's sentence for attempted murder and burglary is affirmed over his challenge that, under Blakely v. Washington 124 S.Ct. 2531, the trial court lacked the authority to impose consecutive sentences without a jury trial on the factors justifying their imposition.
