GUARDIAN ANGEL POLISH NAT'L CATHOLIC CHURCH OF LOS ANGELES, INC. v. GROTNIK, B163347

Local parish of the Polish National Catholic Church was bound by the constitution, rules and regulations of the national church. The board of directors of the parish, who were not authorized by Polish National, could not sever ties with Polish National and keep the real and personal property of the church because the church bylaws required that all parish property would revert to the national church in such event.
