ALBILLO v. INTERMODAL CONTAINER SERVS., INC., B156444

An employer who elects to come under the workers' compensation law pursuant to Labor Code section 4150 necessarily agrees to be bound by Labor Code section 3751, which requires the employer to pay all costs associated with securing compensation. Failure to pay all costs might constitute an unlawful, unfair or fraudulent business practice per Business and Professions Code section 17200.
