California Court of Appeal

IN RE ALYSSA F., d041179

The superior court's judgment terminating parental rights is reversed where, although the court had emergency jurisdiction over the child under Family Code section 3424(a) at the time of the detention, the father was not properly served under the Hague Service Convention, and the case must be remanded to determine whether the Juvenile Court had continuing subject matter jurisdiction.
