California Court of Appeal
PEOPLE v. COLLINS, B160373
Defendant was not prejudiced by the trial court's erroneous failure to inform him that an order of direct victim restitution was a direct consequence of his plea, and the amount of the restitution award was supported by substantial evidence. Defendant's habeas claim of ineffective assistance of counsel is for failing to preserve the issue for appeal is meritless.
