California Court of Appeal

Family Code section 4726, regarding delinquent child support payments, does not require a court to choose between all or no penalty, but allows for discretionary reduction. Under the circumstances, the trial court did not abuse its discretion in finding a section 4726 motion timely and then reducing the penalty.
