California Court of Appeal

MOOSA v. STATE PERS. BD. (CALIFORNIA STATE UNIV., CHICO), C038494

A dean's directive was invalid as a matter of law because it was inconsistent with the terms of a collective bargaining agreement, thus a university professor's refusal to comply with the directive cannot be characterized as grounds for demotion under Education Code sections 89535(b) and (f).
