COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES v. THE SUPERIOR COURT OF LOS ANGELES COUNTY (TERRELL R.), B157850

In claims arising from a child's dependency placement in a foster home in which he was sexually molested, no triable issue exists as to the breach of any mandatory duty by the county causing the child injury, and a social worker and the county are immune for discretionary acts of the social worker in placing and supervising the child.
