A teacher was properly classified as a temporary employee while a categorically-funded class size reduction program was ongoing, but when her employment continued after program funding ceased, she became entitled to statutory protection against termination for economic reasons; teacher's termination was nonetheless in compliance with procedures for laying off permanent employees for economic reasons.
