A "second strike" prisoner saved the life of a prison employee but could not receive a reduction in sentence for meritorious conduct; court urges the legislature to amend the "three-strikes" law so that in the future such an inmate is theoretically eligible to receive a reduction of sentence pursuant to the "Heroic Act" provision of Penal Code section 2935.
