California Court of Appeal
IN RE: PERRIS CITY NEWS, E029653
The California Constitution confers upon the Court of Appeal jurisdiction over appeals from judgments on general-circulation petitions, and the language in Government Code section 6026 that purports to bestow appellate jurisdiction over such matters to the Supreme Court is void; evidence supported trial court's finding that publication met requirements to be a be a newspaper of general circulation.
