The recent amendments to Penal Code section 1166, requiring a court to make findings regarding public safety, prior criminal record, seriousness of offense, and probability of flight when a convicted defendant is allowed to remain free on bail pending sentencing, do not apply to convictions entered upon guilty pleas.
