MOORE v. STATE BD. OF CONTROL, C031821

Under Government Code section 13961(c), a crime victim's application for assistance from the Restitution Fund is not timely unless it is filed within the maximum period of three years after the date of the crime years even if law enforcement failed to inform the victim of his potential eligibility of restitution.
