PRICE v. DAMES & MOORE, A089052

Courts must allow plaintiffs to amend complaints which do not comply with Code Civ. Proc. 411.35, which requires a plaintiff's attorney to file a certificate of merit before suing a licensed engineer for negligence, if there is a reasonable possibility of curing the defect in meeting the certificate requirement.
