SOUDERS v. PHILIP MORRIS INC., B141519
Under amended Civil Code section 1714.45, which eliminated the statutory immunity for tobacco products from products liability actions, tobacco companies are not immune from claims accruing after its effective date regardless of when the smoking occurred.
