IN RE: AMENDMENT TO SCR 10.03(6M)(C)
The court, on its own motion, has determined that it is appropriate to amend Supreme Court Rule (SCR) 10.03(6m)(c). This order amends the incorrect reference to SCR 20:1.15(g) in this section to the correct reference of SCR 20:1.15(i).
IT IS ORDERED that, effective the date of this order:
Section 1: Supreme Court Rule 10.03(6m)(c) is amended to read:
(c) An attorney suspended from the practice of law for failure to comply with the trust account certification requirement under SCR 20:1.15(gi) shall be reinstated as a member by the state bar if he or she files the prescribed certificate. The state bar shall certify the reinstatement to the clerk of the supreme court.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that notice of the above amendment be given by a single publication of a copy of this order in the official publications designated in SCR 80.01, including the official publishers’ online databases, and on the Wisconsin court system's web site. The State Bar of Wisconsin shall provide notice of this order.
