IN RE: CITY OF CHESTER, Debtor
ORDER FOR RELIEF UNDER CHAPTER 9 OF THE BANKRUPTCY CODE
AND NOW, this 14th day of March 2023, for the reasons stated in the accompanying opinion, the Court has determined that the City of Chester, Pennsylvania has met all of the requirements under 11 U.S.C. § 109(c) and is eligible to be a debtor under chapter 9 of the Bankruptcy Code. The Court has further determined that the City of Chester, Pennsylvania filed this chapter 9 petition in good faith. As such, the Court hereby enters this Order for Relief pursuant to 11 U.S.C. § 921(d) and grants relief to the City of Chester, Pennsylvania under chapter 9 of the Bankruptcy Code.
