MARK P. OSTER, Petitioner - Appellant, v. UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, Respondent - Appellee.
ORDER
Appellee's motion (Docket Entry No. 12) to summarily affirm the district court's order dismissing appellant's 28 U.S.C. § 2241 habeas petitions is granted. See United States v. Hooton, 693 F.2d 857, 858 (9th Cir. 1982) (stating standard). The district court correctly concluded that, in light of his ongoing criminal proceedings, appellant did not show that a § 2241 petition was the appropriate mechanism in which to raise his claims. See United States v. Pirro, 104 F.3d 297, 299-300 (9th Cir. 1997).
AFFIRMED.
