CHRISTOPHER CURRIE, Appellant v. CITY OF IRVING, NORTHWEST RECREATION CENTER AND BOBRICK INC., Appellees
MEMORANDUM OPINION
Appellant's brief in this case is overdue. By postcard dated July 24, 2017, we notified appellant the time for filing his brief had expired. We directed appellant to file a brief and an extension motion within ten days. We cautioned appellant that failure to file a brief and an extension motion would result in the dismissal of this appeal without further notice. On July 28, 2017, appellant filed motion for extension of time to file his brief. We granted the motion and ordered appellant to file the brief September 1, 2017. On that date, appellant filed a second extension motion, asking the Court to extend the deadline to October 1, 2017. By order dated September 5, 2017, we granted appellants second extension motion and ordered the brief filed by Monday, October 2, 2017. To date, appellant has not filed a brief, filed an additional extension motion, or otherwise corresponded with the Court regarding the status of this appeal.
Accordingly, we dismiss this appeal. See TEX. R. APP. P. 38.8(a)(1); 42.3(b), (c).
