IN RE: GILCHRIST COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION (2017)

MEMORANDUM OPINION

On September 13, 2017, relator Gilchrist Community Association filed a petition for writ of injunction in this court. See Tex. Gov't Code Ann. § 22.221 (West 2004); see also Tex. R. App. P. 52. In the petition, relator asks this court to enjoin Galveston County, pending disposition of the related appeal in cause number 14-17-00681-CV, from (1) encumbering the property at issue; (2) attempting to exercise exclusive control over the property; (3) engaging in any activities that would interfere with the property's current use by relator; (4) performing any construction activities on the property; and (5) performing any demolition activities on the property.

Relator has not shown that it is entitled to injunctive relief. Accordingly, we deny relator's petition for writ of injunction. We also deny relator's motion for emergency stay.
