Sherry Xing, Appellant v. Ming Liu, Appellee
MEMORANDUM OPINION
Appellant Sherry Xing filed an amended notice of appeal on August 31, 2017, from a judgment or order dated “September 1, 2001.” On September 1, 2017, this Court requested a response from appellant on or before September 11, 2017, to explain how this Court may exercise jurisdiction over this appeal. See Tex. R. App. P. 26.1(a)(1) (setting deadlines for timely filing notice of appeal). This Court also advised appellant that the failure to file a response would result in the dismissal of this appeal.
Appellant has not filed a response that explains how this Court may exercise jurisdiction over this appeal. Accordingly, we dismiss this appeal for want of jurisdiction. See Tex. R. App. P. 42.3(a).
