EDITH SHELBY, Appellant v. STEVEN SHELBY, Appellee
MEMORANDUM OPINION
Edith Shelby filed a notice of appeal from the trial court's final decree of divorce. On April 14, 2017, we notified appellant by postcard that the Court's $205 filing fee had not been paid. We instructed her to pay the fee within ten days and cautioned her that the failure to do so might result in dismissal of the appeal. To date, the filing fee has not been paid.
On June 21, 2017, we ordered the reporter's record filed within ten days. The following day, court reporter Cindy Bardwell notified us that she had contacted appellant three times regarding the reporter's record but that appellant had not requested the record and had not paid or made arrangements to pay for the reporter's record. In light of this, we ordered the appeal submitted without a reporter's record and ordered appellant's brief due on or before August 5, 2017. When appellant did not file her brief, we notified her by postcard dated August 10, 2017 to file her brief within ten days along with a motion to extend time. To date, no brief has been filed, and we have had no communication from appellant.
We dismiss this appeal for want of prosecution. See TEX. R. APP. P. 37.3(b), 42.3(b), (c).
