IN RE: JOHN THOMAS HUMPHREYS
MEMORANDUM OPINION
A petition for a writ of mandamus filed by John Thomas Humphreys alleges that he invoked the Interstate Agreement on Detainers Act by requesting disposition of the criminal charges in trial court case number 15-01-00269 and he contends the trial court violated a ministerial duty by failing to act on Humphreys's speedy trial request and his motion to dismiss. See generally Tex. Code Crim. Proc. Ann. art. 51.14 (West 2006). The trial court signed an order dismissing the case on December 14, 2016. The petition for a writ of mandamus is denied.
PETITION DENIED.
