EX PARTE MINH DANG, Appellant
MEMORANDUM OPINION
Appellant Minh Dang filed notices of appeal on August 19, 2016, challenging the trial court's ruling on pretrial applications for writ of habeas corpus. Each notice of appeal contains a handwritten notation, signed by appellant, stating that on August 23, 2016, appellant withdrew his notice of appeal.
Appellant has not filed written motions to withdraw the appeals or written motions to dismiss the appeals. See Tex. R. App. P. 42.2(a). However, based on appellant's handwritten, signed requests to withdraw his notices of appeal, we conclude that good cause exists to suspend the operation of Rule 42.2(a) in these cases. See Tex. R. App. P. 2.
Accordingly, we order the appeals dismissed.
