EX PARTE SCOTT DAMON RICHARDSON, Relator
MEMORANDUM OPINION
Before the Court is relator's November 3, 2016 petition for writ of habeas corpus in which he seeks a writ of habeas corpus from what appears to be a brief confinement following his April 13, 2016 arrest for driving with an invalid license. The petition and appendix do not include proof that relator is actually confined or restrained. TEX. R. APP. P. 52.3(k)(1)(D), 52.7(a). In light of the absence of such proof of confinement required by Rule 52, the petition should, therefore, be denied. See, e.g., In re Miller, 05-14-01023-CV, 2014 WL 3882317, at *1 (Tex. App.—Dallas Aug. 7, 2014, orig. proceeding) (mem. op.) (denying petition and holding that website print out from Collin County Sheriff's Department insufficient to provide proof of confinement). Accordingly, we deny relator's petition for writ of habeas corpus.
