IN RE: Ronald Dewayne Whitfield, Relator
MEMORANDUM OPINION
On February 23, 2016, relator Ronald Dewayne Whitfield filed a petition for writ of mandamus in this court. See Tex. Gov't Code Ann. § 22.221 (West 2004); see also Tex.R.App. P. 52. In the petition, relator asks this court to compel the Honorable Caroline E. Baker, presiding judge of the 295th District Court of Harris County, and Joseph J. Halbach Jr., presiding judge of the 333rd District Court of Harris County, to set aside orders compelling arbitration of certain claims.
Relator's petition is denied because he has not established that he does not have an adequate remedy by appeal. See In re Gulf Exploration, LLC, 289 S.W.3d 836, 842–43 (Tex.2009) (denying petition for writ of mandamus regarding order compelling arbitration because relators did not establish that they lacked an adequate remedy by appeal).
