City of Austin, Appellant v. National Media Corporation and ACME Partnership, L.P., Appellees
MEMORANDUM OPINION
In this takings case, the district court granted summary judgment and is proceeding to trial on the issue of just compensation on April 4, 2016. The parties have filed an agreed motion to abate the appeal until that trial is complete because some of the issues in the appeal may be rendered moot by the results of the upcoming trial. Therefore, we grant the motion and abate the appeal until May 4, 2016. The parties are ordered to file a status report informing this Court of the outcome of the proceedings in the court below no later than May 4, 2016. Appellate deadlines are tolled during the pendency of the abatement.
