West Crestmont Houston USA, LLC, The Property Known As 5602 Selinksy, Appellant v. City of Houston, Appellee
MEMORANDUM OPINION
This is an appeal from an order finding appellant West Crestmont USA, LLC, in contempt for failure to comply with an agreed judgment and permanent injunction. On December 31, 2015, appellee filed a motion to dismiss for lack of jurisdiction. Appellant filed a response on January 15, 2015.
Orders finding a party in contempt are not appealable. Ex parte Williams, 690 S.W.2d 243, 243 (Tex.1985); Parham Family Ltd. P'ship v. Morgan, 434 S.W.3d 774, 789 n.15 (Tex.App.—Houston [14th Dist.] 2014, no pet); Glassman v. Goodfriend, 347 S.W.3d 772, 780–81 (Tex.App.—Houston [14th Dist.] 2011, pet. denied) (en banc).
Appellant's response to the motion fails to demonstrate this court has jurisdiction over this appeal.
Accordingly, appellee's motion to dismiss is GRANTED and the appeal is DISMISSED.
