IN RE: ATAUYO UMONDAK, Relator
MEMORANDUM OPINION
Opinion By Justice Fillmore
Before the Court is relator's petition for writ of mandamus requesting relief in relation to his post conviction writ of habeas corpus. The facts and issues are well known to the parties, so we need not recount them herein. This Court has no jurisdiction to issue writs of mandamus in criminal law matters pertaining to proceedings under article 11.07 of the code of criminal procedure. See Tex.Code Crim. Proc. Ann. Art. 11.07 (West Supp.2010); Ater v. Eighth Court of Appeals, 802 S.W.2d 241, 243 (Tex.Crim.App.1991); In re McAfee, 53 S.W.3d 715, 718 (Tex.App.—Houston [1 st Dist.] 2001, orig. proceeding). Accordingly, we dismiss relator's petition for writ of mandamus for want of jurisdiction.
