Homer L. Cody v. Board of Professional Responsibility of the Supreme Court of Tennessee
JUDGMENT
This case was heard upon the record of appeal from the Shelby County Circuit Court, briefs and argument of counsel; and upon consideration thereof, this Court is of the opinion that the trial court properly affirmed the hearing panel's finding that Homer L. Cody violated Tennessee Rules of Professional Conduct 1.7, 8.4(a), and 8.4(d) and should be suspended from the practice of law for one-hundred eighty days.
In accordance with the opinion filed therein, it is therefore ordered and adjudged that the judgment of the Shelby County Circuit Court is affirmed. It is further ordered that, pursuant to Tenn. Sup.Ct. R. 9, § 24.3, Homer L. Cody shall pay to the Board of Professional Responsibility the expenses and costs of this matter and, in addition, shall pay to the Clerk of this Court the costs herein, for which execution may issue if necessary.
