State of Tennessee v. Jerome Maurice Teats
JUDGMENT
This case was heard upon the record on appeal from the Court of Criminal Appeals, application for permission to appeal having heretofore been granted, and the briefs and argument of counsel; and upon consideration thereof, this Court holds that a jury instruction pursuant to our opinion in State v. White, 362 S.W.3d 559 (Tenn.2012), is not required when a defendant is charged with the offenses of kidnapping and robbery of different victims.
In accordance with the opinion filed herein, it is therefore ordered and adjudged that the defendant's convictions are affirmed.
It appearing that the defendant is indigent, costs of the appeal shall be taxed to the State of Tennessee.
