RE: SOUTH CAROLINA APPELLATE COURT RULES
ORDER
This order amends several rules in the South Carolina Appellate Court Rules (SCACR). The amendments, which are set forth below, correct minor scrivener's errors or make non-substantive changes to several rules.
• Rules 401 and 402, SCACR, are amended so that both rules refer to the Joseph F. Rice School of Law.
• Comment 3 to Rule 4.2, RPC, Rule 407, SCACR, is amended to correct a scrivener's error.
• Rule 7.3(d)(2) and (3), RPC, Rule 407, SCACR, is amended to update phone and address contact requirements for lawyer solicitations.
These changes are effective immediately.
