IN RE: David Charles JOHNSTON, Petitioner.
ORDER
By opinion filed July 23, 2025, Petitioner was suspended from the practice of law for a period of six months, retroactive to the date of his interim suspension. In re Johnston, Op. No. 28292, 2025 WL 2055796 (S.C. Sup. Ct. filed July 23, 2025) (Howard Adv. Sh. No. 27 at 34). He has now filed an affidavit requesting reinstatement pursuant to Rule 32 of the Rules for Lawyer Disciplinary Enforcement, contained in Rule 413 of the South Carolina Appellate Court Rules.
The request is granted, and Petitioner is hereby reinstated as a regular member of the South Carolina Bar.1

1. In his affidavit, Petitioner avers that he will enroll in and complete the next available Legal Ethics and Practice Program Ethics School. Within twenty days of completing this program, Petitioner shall submit proof of completion to the Commission on Lawyer Conduct.
